8:1 And Saul agreed completely with killing ¹  him.

Saul Begins to Persecute the Church

Now on that day a great ²  persecution began ³  against the church in Jerusalem, ⁴  and all ⁵  except the apostles were forced to scatter throughout the regions ⁶  of Judea and Samaria.

Paul and Barnabas Part Company

15:36 After some days Paul said to Barnabas, “Let’s return ⁷  and visit the brothers in every town where we proclaimed the word of the Lord ⁸  to see how they are doing.” ⁹

Paul is Shipwrecked

27:39 When day came, they did not recognize the land, but they noticed ¹⁴  a bay ¹⁵  with a beach, ¹⁶  where they decided to run the ship aground if they could.
