[8:2] 1 tn “Some” is not in the Greek text, but is implied.
[8:2] 2 sn Made loud lamentation. For someone who was stoned to death, lamentation was normally not allowed (m. Sanhedrin 6:6). The remark points to an unjust death.
[8:2] 3 tn Or “mourned greatly for him.”
[14:25] 5 sn Perga was a city in Pamphylia near the southern coast of Asia Minor.
[14:25] 6 sn Attalia was a seaport in the province of Pamphylia on the southern coast of Asia Minor, about 12 mi (20 km) southwest of Perga.
[26:27] 7 sn “Do you believe the prophets?” Note how Paul made the issue believing the OT prophets and God’s promise which God fulfilled in Christ. He was pushing King Agrippa toward a decision not for or against Paul’s guilt of any crime, but concerning Paul’s message.
