Amos 7:11

Context
7:11 As a matter of fact, 1  Amos is saying this: ‘Jeroboam will die by the sword and Israel will certainly be carried into exile 2  away from its land.’”

Amos 9:15

Context

9:15 I will plant them on their land

and they will never again be uprooted from the 3  land I have given them,”

says the Lord your God.

Amos 7:17

Context

7:17 “Therefore this is what the Lord says:

‘Your wife will become a prostitute in the streets 4 

and your sons and daughters will die violently. 5 

Your land will be given to others 6 

and you will die in a foreign 7  land.

Israel will certainly be carried into exile 8  away from its land.’”

Amos 9:8

Context

9:8 Look, the sovereign Lord is watching 9  the sinful nation, 10 

and I will destroy it from the face of the earth.

But I will not completely destroy the family 11  of Jacob,” says the Lord.
