Daniel 5:20
Context5:20 And when his mind 2 became arrogant 3 and his spirit filled with pride, he was deposed from his royal throne and his honor was removed from him.
Daniel 7:16
Context7:16 I approached one of those standing nearby and asked him about the meaning 4 of all this. So he spoke with me and revealed 5 to me the interpretation of the vision: 6
Daniel 7:24
Context7:24 The ten horns
mean that ten kings will arise from that kingdom.
Another king will arise after them,
but he will be different from the earlier ones.
He will humiliate 7 three kings.

[5:20] 3 sn The point of describing Nebuchadnezzar as arrogant is that he had usurped divine prerogatives, and because of his immense arrogance God had dealt decisively with him.

[7:16] 4 tn Aram “and made known.”
[7:16] 5 tn Aram “matter,” but the matter at hand is of course the vision.
[7:24] 4 tn Or “subjugate”; KJV, NASB, NIV “subdue”; ASV, NRSV “put down.”
