Context3:24 Then King Nebuchadnezzar was startled and quickly got up. He said to his ministers, “Wasn’t it three men that we tied up and threw 1 into 2 the fire?” They replied to the king, “For sure, O king.”
Daniel 8:17
Context8:17 So he approached the place where I was standing. As he came, I felt terrified and fell flat on the ground. 3 Then he said to me, “Understand, son of man, 4 that the vision pertains to the time of the end.”

[3:24] 2 tn Aram “into the midst of.”
[9:4] 5 tn The Hebrew term translated “Lord” here and in vv. 7, 9, 15, 16, and 19 is אֲדֹנָי (’adonay).
[9:4] 6 tn Heb “who keeps the covenant and the loyal love.” The expression is a hendiadys.
