Daniel 3:24

God Delivers His Servants

3:24 Then King Nebuchadnezzar was startled and quickly got up. He said to his ministers, “Wasn’t it three men that we tied up and threw ¹  into ²  the fire?” They replied to the king, “For sure, O king.”

Daniel 8:17

8:17 So he approached the place where I was standing. As he came, I felt terrified and fell flat on the ground. ³  Then he said to me, “Understand, son of man, ⁴  that the vision pertains to the time of the end.”

Daniel 9:4

9:4 I prayed to the LORD my God, confessing in this way:

“O Lord, ⁵  great and awesome God who is faithful to his covenant ⁶  with those who love him and keep his commandments,

Daniel 11:31

11:31 His forces ⁷  will rise up and profane the fortified sanctuary, ⁸  stopping the daily sacrifice. In its place they will set up ⁹  the abomination that causes desolation.

[9:4]  ⁶ tn Heb “who keeps the covenant and the loyal love.” The expression is a hendiadys.
