Daniel 4:6

4:6 So I issued an order 1  for all the wise men of Babylon to be brought 2  before me so that they could make known to me the interpretation of the dream.

[4:6]  1 tn Aram “from me there was placed a decree.”

[4:6]  2 tn The Aramaic infinitive here is active.

[5:8]  3 tc Read וּפִשְׁרֵהּ (ufishreh) with the Qere rather than וּפִשְׁרָא (ufishra’) of the Kethib.

[7:16]  7 tn Aram “matter,” but the matter at hand is of course the vision.

[9:6]  7 tn Heb “in your name.” Another option is to translate, “as your representatives.”

[9:6]  8 tn Heb “our fathers” (also in vv. 8, 16). The Hebrew term translated “father” can refer to more distant relationships such as grandfathers or ancestors.
