Context

8:5 While I was contemplating all this, 1  a male goat 2  was coming from the west over the surface of all the land 3  without touching the ground. This goat had a conspicuous horn 4  between its eyes.

9:2 in the first year of his reign 5  I, Daniel, came to understand from the sacred books 6  that, according to the word of the LORD 7  disclosed to the prophet Jeremiah, the years for the fulfilling of the desolation of Jerusalem 8  were seventy in number.

11:17 His intention 11  will be to come with the strength of his entire kingdom, and he will form alliances. 12  He will give the king of the south 13  a daughter 14  in marriage in order to destroy the kingdom, but it will not turn out to his advantage.
