Deuteronomy 32:1

• Hai Langit, Pasanglah Telingamu [KJ.73]

  	Ul 32:1-4, 10
  1. Hai langit, pasanglah telingamu, dengar ucapanku, wahai bumi! Semoga Firman tumbuh di hatimu laksana pohon akan berputik.
  2. Berilah hormatmu pada Tuhan. Sang Gunung Batu, adil jalanNya. Biarlah nama Tuhan kuserukan, kar'na kekallah kebenaranNya!
  3. Walau umatNya didapatiNya hidup sengsara di ketandusan, curahan berkat kasih kurniaNya yang memberikan keselamatan.

  1. Sabda Tuhan Allah bagai dirus hujan turun menyirami tanah dan tumbuhan. Langit maupun bumi, bukalah telinga. Hai dengar sabdaNya, umat manusia!
  2. Sambut, hai jiwaku, sabda Tuhan Allah. Ia setiawan, adil tindakanNya. Tiada kecurangan, janjiNya mulia. Pasanglah telinga dan dengarkan Dia!
  3. Padang gurun dunia tandus kegersangan: hidup tanpa Tuhan tiada ketent'raman. Hanya pada Tuhan ada pengharapan; SabdaNya bagiku jadilah pegangan.

• [Deu 32:3] Sing Praise To God Who Reigns Above

  Sing praise to God Who reigns above, the God of all creation, The God of power, the God of love, the God of our salvation. With healing balm my soul is filled and every faithless murmur stilled: To God all praise and glory. What God’s almighty power hath made His gracious mercy keepeth, By morning glow or evening shade His watchful eye ne’er sleepeth; Within the kingdom of His might, Lo! all is just and all is right: To God all praise and glory. The Lord is never far away, but through all grief distressing, An ever present help and stay, our peace and joy and blessing. As with a mother’s tender hand, God gently leads the chosen band: To God all praise and glory. Thus, all my toilsome way along, I sing aloud Thy praises, That earth may hear the grateful song my voice unwearied raises. Be joyful in the Lord, my heart, both soul and body bear your part: To God all praise and glory. Let all who name Christ’s holy Name give God all praise and glory; Let all who own His power proclaim aloud the wondrous story! Cast each false idol from its throne, for Christ is Lord, and Christ alone: To God all praise and glory.

  God send us men whose aim ’twill be, Not to defend some ancient creed, But to live out the laws of Christ In every thought and word and deed. God send us men alert and quick His lofty precepts to translate, Until the laws of Christ become The laws and habits of the state. God send us men of steadfast will, Patient, courageous, strong and true, With vision clear and mind equipped His will to learn, his work to do. God send us men with hearts ablaze, All truth to love, all wrong to hate; These are the patriots nations need; These are the bulwarks of the state.

  Why did the nations join to slay The Lord’s anointed Son? Why did they cast His laws away, And tread His Gospel down? The Lord, that sits above the skies, Derides their rage below; He speaks with vengeance in His eyes, And strikes their spirits through. “I call him my eternal Son, And raise Him from the dead; I make My holy hill His throne, And wide His kingdom spread. “Ask Me, My Son, and then enjoy The utmost heathen lands: Thy rod of iron shall destroy The rebel that withstands.” Be wise, ye rulers of the earth, Obey th’ anointed Lord, Adore the King of heav’nly birth, And tremble at His Word.   Maker and sov’reign Lord Of Heav’n, and earth, and seas, Thy providence confirms Thy Word, And answers Thy decrees. The things so long foretold By David are fulfilled, When Jews and Gentiles join’d to slay Jesus, Thine holy Child. Why did the Gentiles rage, And Jews, with one accord, Bend all their counsels to destroy Th’Anointed of the Lord? Rulers and kings agree To form a vain design; Against the Lord their powers unite Against His Christ they join. The Lord derides their rage, And will support His throne; He that hath rais’d Him from the dead Hath own’d Him for His Son. Now He’s ascended high, And asks to rule the earth; The merit of His blood He pleads, And pleads His heav’nly birth. He asks, and God bestows A large inheritance; Far as the world’s remotest ends His kingdom shall advance. The nations that rebel Must feel His iron rod; He’ll vindicate those honors well Which He receiv’d from God. Be wise, ye rulers, now, And worship at His throne; With trembling joy, ye people, bow To God’s exalted Son. If once His wrath arise, Ye perish on the place; Then blessèd is the soul that flies For refuge to His grace.

  Hear this, all ye people, hear, Earth’s inhabitants, give ear; All of high and low degree, Rich and poor, give heed to me.
