Deuteronomy 32:4

• Hai Langit, Pasanglah Telingamu [KJ.73]

  	Ul 32:1-4, 10
  1. Hai langit, pasanglah telingamu, dengar ucapanku, wahai bumi! Semoga Firman tumbuh di hatimu laksana pohon akan berputik.
  2. Berilah hormatmu pada Tuhan. Sang Gunung Batu, adil jalanNya. Biarlah nama Tuhan kuserukan, kar'na kekallah kebenaranNya!
  3. Walau umatNya didapatiNya hidup sengsara di ketandusan, curahan berkat kasih kurniaNya yang memberikan keselamatan.

  1. Sabda Tuhan Allah bagai dirus hujan turun menyirami tanah dan tumbuhan. Langit maupun bumi, bukalah telinga. Hai dengar sabdaNya, umat manusia!
  2. Sambut, hai jiwaku, sabda Tuhan Allah. Ia setiawan, adil tindakanNya. Tiada kecurangan, janjiNya mulia. Pasanglah telinga dan dengarkan Dia!
  3. Padang gurun dunia tandus kegersangan: hidup tanpa Tuhan tiada ketent'raman. Hanya pada Tuhan ada pengharapan; SabdaNya bagiku jadilah pegangan.

  Into Thine hand, O God of truth, My spirit I commit; Thou hast redeemed my soul from death, And saved me from the pit. The passions of my hope and fear Maintained a doubtful strife, While sorrow, pain, and sin conspired To take away my life. “My times are in Thine hand,” I cried, “Though I draw near the dust”; Thou art the Refuge where I hide, The God in Whom I trust.   My spirit on Thy care, Blest Savior, I recline; Thou wilt not leave me to despair, For Thou art Love divine. • [Psa 31:5] O God Of Truth

  O God of truth, whose living Word Upholds whate’er hath breath, Look down on Thy creation, Lord, Enslaved by sin and death. Set up Thy standard, Lord, that we, Who claim a heavenly birth, May march with Thee to smite the lies That vex Thy groaning earth. Ah! would we join that blest array, And follow in the might Of Him, the Faithful and the True, In raiment clean and white! We fight for truth, we fight for God, Poor slaves of lies and sin! He who would fight for Thee on earth Must first be true within. Then, God of truth, for Whom we long, Thou Who wilt hear our prayer, Do Thine own battle in our hearts, And slay the falsehood there. Still smite; still burn; till naught is left But God’s own truth and love; Then, Lord, as morning dew come down, Rest on us from above. Yes, come: then, tried as in the fire, From every lie set free, Thy perfect truth shall dwell in us, And we shall live in Thee.

  O God of truth, O Lord of might, Who ord’rest time and change aright, Bright’ning the morn with golden gleams, Kindling the noonday’s fiery beams. Quench Thou in us the flame of strife, From passion’s heat preserve our life, Our bodies keep from perils free, And give our souls true peace in Thee. Almighty Father, hear my cry Through Jesus Christ our Lord most high, Who with the Holy Ghost and Thee Doth live and reign eternally.

• [Psa 146:6] O Maker Of The Sea And Sky

  O Maker of the sea and sky, Whose word the stormy winds fulfill, On the wide ocean Thou art nigh, Bidding these hearts of ours be still. What if Thy footsteps are not known? W know Thy way is in the sea; We trace the shadow of Thy throne, Constant amid inconstancy. Thou bidd’st the north or south wind blow; The lonely sea bird is Thy care; And in the clouds which come and go, We see Thy chariots everywhere. The sun that lights the homeland dear Spreads the new morning o’er the deep; And in the dark Thy stars appear, Keeping their watches while we sleep. And so, secure from all alarms, Thy seas beneath, Thy skies above, Clasped in the everlasting arms, We rest in Thine unslumbering love.
