Deuteronomy 5:28-29

5:28 When the Lord heard you speaking to me, he 1  said to me, “I have heard what these people have said to you – they have spoken well. 5:29 If only it would really be their desire to fear me and obey 2  all my commandments in the future, so that it may go well with them and their descendants forever.

2:14 What good is it, my brothers and sisters, 11  if someone claims to have faith but does not have works? Can this kind of faith 12  save him? 13  2:15 If a brother or sister 14  is poorly clothed and lacks daily food, 2:16 and one of you says to them, “Go in peace, keep warm and eat well,” but you do not give them what the body needs, 15  what good is it?
