Deuteronomy 1:10

1:10 The Lord your God has increased your population ¹  to the point that you are now as numerous as the very stars of the sky. ² 

Deuteronomy 30:5

30:5 Then he ³  will bring you to the land your ancestors ⁴  possessed and you also will possess it; he will do better for you and multiply you more than he did your ancestors.

[1:10]  ¹ tn Heb “multiplied you.”

[1:10]  ² tn Or “heavens.” The Hebrew term שָׁמַיִם (shamayim) may be translated “heaven(s)” or “sky” depending on the context.

[30:5]  ³ tn Heb “the Lord your God.” See note on the second occurrence of the word “he” in v. 3.

[30:5]  ⁴ tn Heb “fathers” (also later in this verse and in vv. 9, 20).
