12:29 When the Lord your God eliminates the nations from the place where you are headed and you dispossess them, you will settle down in their land. 1

Deuteronomy 23:24

23:24 When you enter the vineyard of your neighbor you may eat as many grapes as you please, 2  but you must not take away any in a container. 3 

Deuteronomy 24:21

Context
24:21 When you gather the grapes of your vineyard you must not do so a second time; 4  they should go to the resident foreigner, orphan, and widow.

Deuteronomy 25:1

Context

25:1 If controversy arises between people, 5  they should go to court for judgment. When the judges 6  hear the case, they shall exonerate 7  the innocent but condemn 8  the guilty.

[12:29]  1 tn Heb “dwell in their land” (so NASB). In the Hebrew text vv. 29-30 are one long sentence. For stylistic reasons the translation divides it into two.

[24:21]  3 tn Heb “glean after you.”

[25:1]  4 tn Heb “men.”
