Deuteronomy 12:31

12:31 You must not worship the Lord your God the way they do! ¹  For everything that is abhorrent ²  to him, ³  everything he hates, they have done when worshiping their gods. They even burn up their sons and daughters before their gods!

Deuteronomy 4:10

4:10 You ⁴  stood before the Lord your God at Horeb and he ⁵  said to me, “Assemble the people before me so that I can tell them my commands. ⁶  Then they will learn to revere me all the days they live in the land, and they will instruct their children.”
