12:6 And there you must take your burnt offerings, your sacrifices, your tithes, the personal offerings you have prepared, 1  your votive offerings, your freewill offerings, and the firstborn of your herds and flocks.

Deuteronomy 12:17

12:17 You will not be allowed to eat in your villages your tithe of grain, new wine, olive oil, the firstborn of your herd and flock, any votive offerings you have vowed, or your freewill and personal offerings.

15:19 You must set apart 2  for the Lord your God every firstborn male born to your herds and flocks. You must not work the firstborn of your bulls or shear the firstborn of your flocks.

[12:6]  1 tn Heb “heave offerings of your hand.”

[15:19]  2 tn Heb “sanctify” (תַּקְדִּישׁ, taqdish), that is, put to use on behalf of the Lord.

[16:2]  3 tn Heb “sacrifice the Passover” (so NASB). The word “animal” has been supplied in the translation for clarity.

[16:2]  4 tn Heb “the Lord.” See note on “he” in the previous verse.
