Blessing on Naphtali

33:23 Of Naphtali he said:

O Naphtali, overflowing with favor,

and full of the Lord’s blessing,

possess the west and south.

[16:17]  ¹ tn Heb “a man must give according to the gift of his hand.” This has been translated as second person for stylistic reasons, in keeping with the second half of the verse, which is second person rather than third.

[28:2]  ² tn Heb “come upon you and overtake you” (so NASB, NRSV); NIV “come upon you and accompany you.”
