Deuteronomy 16:4

16:4 There must not be a scrap of yeast within your land ¹  for seven days, nor can any of the meat you sacrifice on the evening of the first day remain until the next morning. ² 

Deuteronomy 19:8

19:8 If the Lord your God enlarges your borders as he promised your ancestors ³  and gives you all the land he pledged to them, ⁴ 

[16:4]  ¹ tn Heb “leaven must not be seen among you in all your border.”

[16:4]  ² tn Heb “remain all night until the morning” (so KJV, ASV). This has been simplified in the translation for stylistic reasons.

[19:8]  ³ tn Heb “fathers.”

[19:8]  ⁴ tn Heb “he said to give to your ancestors.” The pronoun has been used in the translation instead for stylistic reasons.
