28:21 The Lord will plague you with deadly diseases ⁵  until he has completely removed you from the land you are about to possess.

[2:13]  ¹ sn Wadi Zered. Now known as Wadi el-H£esa, this valley marked the boundary between Moab to the north and Edom to the south.

[2:13]  ² tn Heb “we crossed the Wadi Zered.” This has been translated as “we did so” for stylistic reasons, to avoid redundancy.

[11:11]  ³ tn Heb “which you are crossing over there to possess it.”

[11:11]  ⁴ tn Heb “rain of heaven.”

[28:21]  ⁵ tn Heb “will cause pestilence to cling to you.”
