20:4 for the Lord your God goes with you to fight on your behalf against your enemies to give you victory.” ¹

1:42 But the Lord told me: “Tell them this: ‘Do not go up and fight, because I will not be with you and you will be defeated by your enemies.’”

Deuteronomy 12:10

12:10 When you do go across the Jordan River ²  and settle in the land he ³  is granting you as an inheritance and you find relief from all the enemies who surround you, you will live in safety. ⁴ 

Deuteronomy 20:3

20:3 “Listen, Israel! Today you are moving forward to do battle with your enemies. Do not be fainthearted. Do not fear and tremble or be terrified because of them,
