Deuteronomy 22:24

22:24 you must bring the two of them to the gate of that city and stone them to death, the young woman because she did not cry out though in the city and the man because he violated ¹  his neighbor’s fiancée; ²  in this way you will purge ³  evil from among you.

24:2 When she has left him ⁴  she may go and become someone else’s wife.

Deuteronomy 25:19

25:19 So when the Lord your God gives you relief from all the enemies who surround you in the land he ⁵  is giving you as an inheritance, ⁶  you must wipe out the memory of the Amalekites from under heaven ⁷  – do not forget! ⁸

[25:19]  ⁹ tn Or “from beneath the sky.” The Hebrew term שָׁמַיִם (shamayim) may be translated “heaven(s)” or “sky” depending on the context.
