Deuteronomy 27:12

27:12 “The following tribes ¹  must stand to bless the people on Mount Gerizim when you cross the Jordan: Simeon, Levi, Judah, Issachar, Joseph, and Benjamin.

Deuteronomy 34:2

34:2 and all of Naphtali, the land of Ephraim and Manasseh, all the land of Judah as far as the distant ²  sea,

[34:2]  ² tn Or “western” (so NAB, NASB, NIV, NRSV); Heb “latter,” a reference to the Mediterranean Sea (cf. NCV, TEV, CEV, NLT).
