Deuteronomy 4:9
Context4:9 Again, however, pay very careful attention, 1 lest you forget the things you have seen and disregard them for the rest of your life; instead teach them to your children and grandchildren.
Deuteronomy 7:12
Context7:12 If you obey these ordinances and are careful to do them, the Lord your God will faithfully keep covenant with you 2 as he promised 3 your ancestors.
Deuteronomy 11:22
Context11:22 For if you carefully observe all of these commandments 4 I am giving you 5 and love the Lord your God, live according to his standards, 6 and remain loyal to him,

[4:9] 1 tn Heb “watch yourself and watch your soul carefully.”
[7:12] 2 tn Heb “will keep with you the covenant and loyalty.” On the construction used here, see v. 9.
[7:12] 3 tn Heb “which he swore on oath.” The relative pronoun modifies “covenant,” so one could translate “will keep faithfully the covenant (or promise) he made on oath to your ancestors.”
[11:22] 3 tn Heb “this commandment.” See note at Deut 5:30.
[11:22] 4 tn Heb “commanding you to do it.” For stylistic reasons, to avoid redundancy, “giving” has been used in the translation and “to do it” has been left untranslated.
[11:22] 5 tn Heb “walk in all his ways” (so KJV, NIV); TEV “do everything he commands.”
