7:10 but who pays back those who hate ¹  him as they deserve and destroys them. He will not ignore ²  those who hate him but will repay them as they deserve!

[9:19]  ³ tn Heb “the anger and the wrath.” Although many English versions translate as two terms, this construction is a hendiadys which serves to intensify the emotion (cf. NAB, TEV “fierce anger”).
