Context7:25 You must burn the images of their gods, but do not covet the silver and gold that covers them so much that you take it for yourself and thus become ensnared by it; for it is abhorrent 1 to the Lord your God.
Deuteronomy 12:31
Context12:31 You must not worship the Lord your God the way they do! 2 For everything that is abhorrent 3 to him, 4 everything he hates, they have done when worshiping their gods. They even burn up their sons and daughters before their gods!
Deuteronomy 24:4
Context24:4 her first husband who divorced her is not permitted to remarry 5 her after she has become ritually impure, for that is offensive to the Lord. 6 You must not bring guilt on the land 7 which the Lord your God is giving you as an inheritance.
