Context8:19 Now if you forget the Lord your God at all 1 and follow other gods, worshiping and prostrating yourselves before them, I testify to you today that you will surely be annihilated.

[8:19] 1 tn Heb “if forgetting, you forget.” The infinitive absolute is used for emphasis; the translation indicates this with the words “at all” (cf. KJV).
[26:2] 2 tn Heb “the
[26:2] 3 sn The place where he chooses to locate his name. This is a circumlocution for the central sanctuary, first the tabernacle and later the Jerusalem temple. See Deut 12:1-14 and especially the note on the word “you” in v. 14.
