Wisdom Needed Because No One is Truly Righteous

7:19 Wisdom gives a wise person more protection ¹ 

than ten rulers in a city.

10:5 I have seen another ²  misfortune ³  on the earth: ⁴ 

It is an error a ruler makes. ⁵ 

Ecclesiastes 8:8

8:8 Just as no one has power over the wind to restrain it, ⁶ 

so no one has power over the day of his ⁷  death.

Just as no one can be discharged during the battle, ⁸ 

so wickedness cannot rescue the wicked. ⁹
