30:24 and twelve and a half pounds of cassia, all weighed ¹  according to the sanctuary shekel, and four quarts ²  of olive oil.

38:29 The bronze of the wave offering was seventy talents and 2,400 shekels. ³

[30:24]  ² tn Or “a hin.” A hin of oil is estimated at around one gallon (J. Durham, Exodus [WBC], 3:406).

[38:29]  ³ sn The total shekels would have been 212,400 shekels, which would be about 108,749 oz. This would make about 2.5 to 3 tons.
