8:13 The Lord did as Moses asked ¹  – the ²  frogs died out of the houses, the villages, and the fields.

9:20 Those ³  of Pharaoh’s servants who feared the word of the Lord hurried to bring their ⁴  servants and livestock into the houses,

12:7 They will take some of the blood and put it on the two side posts and top of the doorframe of the houses where they will eat it.

[8:13]  ¹ tn Heb “according to the word of Moses” (so KJV, NASB). Just as Moses had told Pharaoh “according to your word” (v. 10), now the Lord does “according to the word” of Moses.

[8:13]  ² tn Heb “and the frogs died.”

[9:20]  ³ tn The text has “the one fearing.” The singular expression here and throughout vv. 20-21 refers to all who fit the description.

[9:20]  ⁴ tn Heb “his” (singular).
