Ezekiel 10:20

10:20 These were the living creatures ¹  which I saw at the Kebar River underneath the God of Israel; I knew that they were cherubim.

Ezekiel 43:2

43:2 I saw ²  the glory of the God of Israel ³  coming from the east; ⁴  the sound was like that of rushing water; ⁵  and the earth radiated ⁶  his glory.

[43:2]  ² tn The word הִנֵּה (hinneh, traditionally “behold”) indicates becoming aware of something and has been translated here as a verb.

[43:2]  ³ sn This same title appears in 8:4; 9:3; 10:19; and 11:22.

[43:2]  ⁴ sn Earlier Ezekiel had observed God leaving the temple to the east (11:23).
