Ezekiel 11:13

11:13 Now, while I was prophesying, Pelatiah son of Benaiah died. Then I threw myself face down and cried out with a loud voice, “Alas, sovereign Lord! You are completely wiping out the remnant of Israel!” ¹ 

Ezekiel 19:12

19:12 But it was plucked up in anger; it was thrown down to the ground.

The east wind ²  dried up its fruit;

its strong branches broke off and withered –

a fire consumed them.

Ezekiel 30:4

30:4 A sword will come against Egypt

and panic will overtake Ethiopia

when the slain fall in Egypt

and they carry away her wealth

and dismantle her foundations.

Ezekiel 34:14

34:14 In a good pasture I will feed them; the mountain heights of Israel will be their pasture. There they will lie down in a lush ³  pasture, and they will feed on rich grass on the mountains of Israel.

[11:13]  ¹ tc The LXX reads this statement as a question. Compare this to the question in 9:8. It is possible that the interrogative particle has been omitted by haplography. However, an exclamatory statement as in the MT also makes sense and the LXX may have simply tried to harmonize this passage with 9:8.

[19:12]  ² sn The east wind symbolizes the Babylonians.

[34:14]  ³ tn Heb “good.”
