Ezekiel 13:22

13:22 This is because you have disheartened the righteous person with lies (although I have not grieved him), and because you have encouraged the wicked person not to turn from his evil conduct and preserve his life.

[18:13]  1 tn Heb “be put to death.” The translation follows an alternative reading that appears in several ancient textual witnesses.

[18:13]  2 tn Heb “his blood will be upon him.”

[37:6]  1 tn The exact physiological meaning of the term is uncertain. In addition to v. 8, the term occurs only in Gen 32:33; Job 10:11; 40:17; and Jer 48:4.

[37:6]  2 tn Or “a spirit.”

[37:14]  1 tn Or “spirit.” This is likely an allusion to Gen 2 and God’s breath which creates life.
