20:19 I am the Lord your God; follow my statutes, observe my regulations, and carry them out.

Ezekiel 48:11

48:11 This will be for the priests who are set apart from the descendants of Zadok who kept my charge and did not go astray when the people of Israel strayed off, like the Levites did. ¹ 

Ezekiel 20:21

20:21 “‘But the children ²  rebelled against me, did not follow my statutes, did not observe my regulations by carrying them out (the one who obeys ³  them will live by them), and desecrated my Sabbaths. I decided to pour out ⁴  my rage on them and fully vent my anger against them in the wilderness.

Ezekiel 44:15

The Levitical Priests

44:15 “‘But the Levitical priests, the descendants of Zadok ⁵  who kept the charge of my sanctuary when the people of Israel went astray from me, will approach me to minister to me; they will stand before me to offer me the fat and the blood, declares the sovereign Lord.

[20:21]  ¹ tn Heb “sons.”

[20:21]  ² tn Or “carries them out.”

[20:21]  ³ tn Heb “and I said/thought to pour out.”

[44:15]  ¹ sn Zadok was a descendant of Aaron through Eleazar (1 Chr 6:50-53), who served as a priest during David’s reign (2 Sam 8:17).
