21:20 Mark out the routes for the sword to take: “Rabbah of the Ammonites” and “Judah with Jerusalem in it.” ¹ 

Ezekiel 25:5

25:5 I will make Rabbah a pasture for camels and Ammon ²  a resting place for sheep. Then you will know that I am the Lord.

[21:20]  ¹ tc The MT reads “Judah in fortified Jerusalem,” a geographic impossibility. The translation follows the LXX, which assumes בְּתוֹכָהּ (bÿtokhah, “in it”) for בְּצוּרָה (bÿtsurah, “fortified”).

[25:5]  ² tn Heb “the sons of Ammon.”
