Ezekiel 21:22

21:22 Into his right hand ¹  comes the portent for Jerusalem – to set up battering rams, to give the signal ²  for slaughter, to shout out the battle cry, ³  to set up battering rams against the gates, to erect a siege ramp, to build a siege wall.

Ezekiel 22:12

22:12 They take bribes within you to shed blood. You engage in usury and charge interest; ⁴  you extort money from your neighbors. You have forgotten me, ⁵  declares the sovereign Lord. ⁶

[22:12]  ⁶ tn The second person verb forms are feminine singular in Hebrew, indicating that the personified city is addressed here as representing its citizens.
