Ezekiel 24:27

24:27 On that day you will be able to speak again; ¹  you will talk with the fugitive and be silent no longer. You will be an object lesson for them, and they will know that I am the Lord.”

Ezekiel 29:21

29:21 On that day I will make Israel powerful, ²  and I will give you the right to be heard ³  among them. Then they will know that I am the Lord.”

Ezekiel 33:7

33:7 “As for you, son of man, I have made you a watchman ⁴  for the house of Israel. Whenever you hear a word from my mouth, you must warn them on my behalf.

[29:21]  ² tn Heb “I will cause a horn to sprout for the house of Israel.” The horn is used as a figure for military power in the OT (Ps 92:10). A similar expression is made about the Davidic dynasty in Ps 132:17.

[33:7]  ³ sn Jeremiah (Jer 6:17) and Habakkuk (Hab 2:1) also served in the role of a watchman.
