Ezekiel 25:9

25:9 So look, I am about to open up Moab’s flank, ¹  eliminating the cities, ²  including its frontier cities, ³  the beauty of the land – Beth Jeshimoth, Baal Meon, and Kiriathaim.

Ezekiel 48:15

48:15 “The remainder, one and two-thirds miles ⁴  in width and eight and a quarter miles ⁵  in length, will be for common use by the city, for houses and for open space. The city will be in the middle of it;

[25:9]  ² tn Heb “from the cities.” The verb “eliminating” has been added in the translation to reflect the privative use of the preposition (see BDB 583 s.v. מִן 7.b).

[48:15]  ⁴ tn Heb “five thousand cubits” (i.e., 2.625 kilometers).
