Ezekiel 3:22-23
Context3:22 The hand 1 of the Lord rested on me there, and he said to me, “Get up, go out to the valley, 2 and I will speak with you there.” 3:23 So I got up and went out to the valley, and the glory of the Lord was standing there, just like the glory I had seen by the Kebar River, 3 and I threw myself face down.
Ezekiel 37:1-2
Context37:1 The hand 4 of the Lord was on me, and he brought me out by the Spirit of the Lord and placed 5 me in the midst of the valley, and it was full of bones. 37:2 He made me walk all around among them. 6 I realized 7 there were a great many bones in the valley and they were very dry.


[3:22] 2 sn Ezekiel had another vision at this location, recounted in Ezek 37.
[37:1] 6 tn Heb “caused me to rest.”
[37:2] 7 tn Heb “and he made me pass over them, around, around.”
[37:2] 8 tn The word הִנֵּה (hinneh, traditionally “behold”) indicates becoming aware of something and is here translated as “I realized” because it results from Ezekiel’s recognition of the situation around him. In Hebrew, the exclamation is repeated in the following sentence.
