[40:6]  1 tn The Hebrew text adds “the one threshold 10½ feet deep.” This is probably an accidental duplication of what precedes. See D. I. Block, Ezekiel (NICOT), 2:517.

[43:17]  1 tn Heb “fourteen”; the word “cubits” is not in the Hebrew text but is understood from the context; the phrase occurs again later in this verse. Fourteen cubits is about 7.35 meters.

[43:17]  2 tn Heb “half a cubit” (i.e., 26.25 cm).

[43:17]  3 tn Heb “one cubit” (i.e., 52.5 cm).
