Vision of the New Temple

40:1 In the twenty-fifth year of our exile, at the beginning of the year, on the tenth day of the month, in the fourteenth year after the city 1  was struck down, on this very day, 2  the hand 3  of the Lord was on me, and he brought me there. 4

40:29 Its alcoves, its jambs, and its porches had the same dimensions as the others, and there were windows all around it and its porches; its length was 87½ feet 5  and its width 43¾ feet. 6

40:48 Then he brought me to the porch of the temple and measured the jambs of the porch as 8¾ feet 7  on either side, and the width of the gate was 24½ feet 8  and the sides 9  were 5¼ feet 10  on each side.
