Ezekiel 40:1

Vision of the New Temple

40:1 In the twenty-fifth year of our exile, at the beginning of the year, on the tenth day of the month, in the fourteenth year after the city ¹  was struck down, on this very day, ²  the hand ³  of the Lord was on me, and he brought me there. ⁴

43:17 The ledge is 24½ feet ⁵  long and 24½ feet wide on four sides; the border around it is 10½ inches, ⁶  and its surrounding base 1¾ feet. ⁷  Its steps face east.”

[43:17]  ⁵ tn Heb “fourteen”; the word “cubits” is not in the Hebrew text but is understood from the context; the phrase occurs again later in this verse. Fourteen cubits is about 7.35 meters.
