Ezekiel 32:25

[7:17]  ¹ tn Heb “their knees will run with water.” The expression probably refers to urination caused by fright, which is how the LXX renders the phrase. More colloquial English would simply be “they will wet their pants,” but as D. I. Block (Ezekiel [NICOT], 1:261, n. 98) notes, the men likely wore skirts which were short enough to expose urine on the knees.

[13:20]  ² tn The word הִנֵּה (hinneh, traditionally “behold”) indicates becoming aware of something and has been translated here as a verb.

[13:20]  ³ tn Heb “human lives” or “souls.”

[32:25]  ³ tn Heb “around him her graves,” but the expression is best emended to read “around her grave” (see vv. 23-24).
