Ezekiel 7:2

7:2 “You, son of man – this is what the sovereign Lord says to the land of Israel: An end! The end is coming on the four corners of the land! ¹ 

Ezekiel 10:11

10:11 When they ²  moved, they would go in any of the four directions they faced without turning as they moved; in the direction the head would turn they would follow ³  without turning as they moved,

Ezekiel 46:21

46:21 Then he brought me out to the outer court and led me past the four corners of the court, and I noticed ⁴  that in every corner of the court there was a court.

[7:2]  ¹ tn Or “earth.” Elsewhere the expression “four corners of the earth” figuratively refers to the whole earth (Isa 11:12).

[10:11]  ² sn That is, the cherubim.

[10:11]  ³ tn Many interpreters assume that the human face of each cherub was the one that looked forward.

[46:21]  ³ tn The word הִנֵּה (hinneh, traditionally “behold”) indicates becoming aware of something and has been translated here as a verb.
