[24:33]  3 tc Some ancient textual witnesses have a plural verb, “and they said.”

[3:18]  4 tn Heb “she”; the referent (Naomi) has been specified in the translation for clarity.

[3:18]  5 tn Heb “sit”; KJV “Sit still”; NAB “Wait here”; NLT “Just be patient.”

[6:4]  6 tn Heb “do not give sleep to your eyes.” The point is to go to the neighbor and seek release from the agreement immediately (cf. NLT “Don’t rest until you do”).
