37:27 Come, let’s sell him to the Ishmaelites, but let’s not lay a hand on him, ¹  for after all, he is our brother, our own flesh.” His brothers agreed. ²

58:7 I want you ³  to share your food with the hungry

and to provide shelter for homeless, oppressed people. ⁴ 

When you see someone naked, clothe him!

James 2:5-6

2:5 Listen, my dear brothers and sisters! ⁶  Did not God choose the poor in the world to be rich in faith and heirs of the kingdom that he promised to those who love him? 2:6 But you have dishonored the poor! ⁷  Are not the rich oppressing you and dragging you into the courts?
