Genesis 22:23-24
Context22:23 (Now 4 Bethuel became the father of Rebekah.) These were the eight sons Milcah bore to Abraham’s brother Nahor. 22:24 His concubine, whose name was Reumah, also bore him children – Tebah, Gaham, Tahash, and Maacah.

Context38:6 Judah acquired 5 a wife for Er his firstborn; her name was Tamar.


[10:15] 2 sn Sidon was the foremost city in Phoenicia; here Sidon may be the name of its founder.
[10:15] 3 tn Some see a reference to “Hittites” here (cf. NIV), but this seems unlikely. See the note on the phrase “sons of Heth” in Gen 23:3.
[22:23] 4 tn The disjunctive clause gives information that is important but parenthetical to the narrative. Rebekah would become the wife of Isaac (Gen 24:15).
