[12:20] 1 tn Heb “him”; the referent (Abram) has been specified in the translation for clarity.
[19:10] 2 tn Heb “the men,” referring to the angels inside Lot’s house. The word “inside” has been supplied in the translation for clarity.
[19:10] 3 tn The Hebrew text adds “their hand.” These words have not been translated for stylistic reasons.
[19:10] 4 tn Heb “to them into the house.”
[37:32] 3 tn Heb “and they sent the special tunic and they brought [it] to their father.” The text as it stands is problematic. It sounds as if they sent the tunic on ahead and then came and brought it to their father. Some emend the second verb to a Qal form and read “and they came.” In this case, they sent the tunic on ahead.
