Genesis 24:54

24:54 After this, he and the men who were with him ate a meal and stayed there overnight. ¹ 

When they got up in the morning, he said, “Let me leave now so I can return to my master.” ² 

Genesis 24:56

24:56 But he said to them, “Don’t detain me – the Lord ³  has granted me success on my journey. Let me leave now so I may return ⁴  to my master.”

Genesis 44:9

44:9 If one of us has it, ⁵  he will die, and the rest of us will become my lord’s slaves!”

Genesis 44:33

44:33 “So now, please let your servant remain as my lord’s slave instead of the boy. As for the boy, let him go back with his brothers.

[44:9]  ⁵ tn Heb “The one with whom it is found from your servants.” Here “your servants” (a deferential way of referring to the brothers themselves) has been translated by the pronoun “us” to avoid confusion with Joseph’s servants.
