6:16 Make a roof for the ark and finish it, leaving 18 inches ¹  from the top. ²  Put a door in the side of the ark, and make lower, middle, and upper decks.

Daniel 6:10

6:10 When Daniel realized ³  that a written decree had been issued, he entered his home, where the windows ⁴  in his upper room opened toward Jerusalem. ⁵  Three ⁶  times daily he was ⁷  kneeling ⁸  and offering prayers and thanks to his God just as he had been accustomed to do previously.

[6:16]  ² tn Heb “to a cubit you shall finish it from above.” The idea is that Noah was to leave an 18-inch opening from the top for a window for light.
