Hebrews 10:10

10:10 By his will ¹  we have been made holy through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.

Hebrews 10:5

10:5 So when he came into the world, he said,

“Sacrifice and offering you did not desire, but a body you prepared for me.

Hebrews 10:22

10:22 let us draw near with a sincere heart in the assurance that faith brings, ⁴  because we have had our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience ⁵  and our bodies washed in pure water.

Hebrews 13:11

13:11 For the bodies of those animals whose blood the high priest brings ⁶  into the sanctuary as an offering for sin are burned outside the camp.

[13:3]  ³ tn Or “since you too are vulnerable”; Grk “you also being in the body.”

[10:22]  ³ tn Grk “in assurance of faith.”

[10:22]  ⁴ sn The phrase our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience combines the OT imagery of the sprinkling with blood to give ritual purity with the emphasis on the interior cleansing provided by the new covenant: It is the heart that is cleansed and the conscience made perfect (cf. Heb 8:10; 9:9, 14; 10:2, 16).
