[1:15]  1 tn Heb “I close my eyes from you.”

[1:15]  2 sn This does not just refer to the blood of sacrificial animals, but also the blood, as it were, of their innocent victims. By depriving the poor and destitute of proper legal recourse and adequate access to the economic system, the oppressors have, for all intents and purposes, “killed” their victims.

[33:15]  3 tn Heb “walks” (so NASB, NIV).

[33:15]  4 tn Or, possibly, “justly”; NAB “who practices virtue.”

[33:15]  5 tn Heb “[who] shakes off his hands from grabbing hold of a bribe.”

[33:15]  6 tn Heb “[who] shuts his ear from listening to bloodshed.”

[33:15]  7 tn Heb “[who] closes his eyes from seeing evil.”
