Isaiah 13:17

13:17 Look, I am stirring up the Medes to attack them; ¹ 

they are not concerned about silver,

nor are they interested in gold. ² 

Isaiah 21:2

21:2 I have received a distressing message: ³ 

“The deceiver deceives,

the destroyer destroys.

Attack, you Elamites!

Lay siege, you Medes!

I will put an end to all the groaning!” ⁴ 

Isaiah 28:19

28:19 Whenever it sweeps by, it will overtake you;

indeed, ⁵  every morning it will sweep by,

it will come through during the day and the night.” ⁶ 

When this announcement is understood,

it will cause nothing but terror.

Isaiah 66:23
